DataFeedWatch And InRiver Join Forces To Improve Web Search Conversion Rates

Posted on January 16, 2017 by Monica Axinte

Chicago, January 16, 2017 – inRiver, the leader in product information management and cross-channel product information solutions, and DataFeedWatch, the world’s largest data feed tool, have formed an alliance to expand inRiver’s syndication capabilities for eCommerce solutions.

Deploying DataFeedWatch with inRiver can lead to higher web search conversion rates. As enterprises enrich their product information, they offer more detailed product descriptions which result in more specific and satisfying search results. For example, shoppers can obtain a specific search result from typing ‘Levi 501 Blue Jeans Size 34L’ that leads them to the vendor’s product page displaying that specific product.

By deploying DataFeedWatch, marketers can obtain analytical data on the number of Google clicks received by a product that has been enriched in inRiver. With DataFeedWatch, an online retailer can determine which clicks led to a sale. If products are not converting to sales, then the retailer can replace that product in Google with alternate products.

“inRiver customers have their product data organized in inRiver PIM to create perfect product stories,” commented Joe Golemba, inRiver’s Vice President of Channels and Alliances. “However, merchants still need to optimize their product information to increase campaign performance on Google and other shopping channels. DataFeedWatch offers that functionality and is a great extension to inRiver’s services.”

“In DataFeedWatch, inRiver now has a partner that enables merchants—and implementation partners on their behalf—to create and optimize data feeds for Google and other shopping channels, in a matter of minutes,” confirmed Jacques van der Wilt, CEO, DataFeedWatch.

inRiver and DataFeedWatch are well-suited partners due to their focus on helping customers enjoy a great product experience and move successfully through the buyer journey. Both companies have a strong B2C marketplace presence worldwide and are experts in marketing to key online channels, such as Amazon, Google, and other retailers.
