Using Regexp

Regexp (Regular Expressions) is a sequence of symbols and characters expressing a string or pattern to be searched for.

In DataFeedWatch, you can use Regexp to search for similar expressions and:

remove them

- shorten the content of the specific field

- use the specific field if it meets your criteria (e.g., "Only If" it includes a numerical value)

- and many more!

Where to use Regexp in mapping?

You can use Only If to create the condition where your internal or input field:

  • Match regexp
  • It doesn't match regexp
  • Is in the list (regexp)

You can use Edit Values and create rules where the regexp lets you:
